Surface Water Status and Trends


The Hudson NAWQA samples three sites as part of the NAWQA trends surface water sampling network. Nutrient, pesticide, suspended sediment, and biologic data have been collected at these sites since 1993. Canajoharie Creek drains an area with predominantly agricultural land use, Lisha Kill drains an area with predominantly urban and residential land use, and the Mohawk River drains an area with agricultural, urban, and forested land use.
